Bridgette L. Smith is a super angel investor and entrepreneur.

After retiring from Google, she became the Executive Chairman CEO and Founder of several enterprises - Purpose Led Ventures, Serenity and Sunshine Holdings and Founder Pitch Week - all focused on supporting and investing in undercapitalized and underrepresented women, BIPOC and LGBTQ founders.

Since launching her popular "Investing With Confidence" brand, she has empowered more than 4,000 women to invest in private companies and build generational wealth. Her popular "Think Like an Investor" brand gives founders a rare glimpse into what investors look for when evaluating deals.

Despite starting with zero knowledge in venture capital, Bridgette has amassed an impressive portfolio of pre-seed to pre-IPO startup investments since 2021 totaling 264 companies.

When she is not investing in diverse founders, she is an Investment Consultant at US Capital, serves as Chair of the Berkeley SkyDeck DEI Committee ($60m fund), Advisory Council of Impact Innovation Foundation, Inc. ($300m fund), Advisor for How Women Invest ($100m fund), Portfolio Support Advisor for Capitalize VC ($10m fund), Regional Director Silicon Valley for Global Woman Club, hosts multiple investor pitch events (matching founders with active investors) and is a Board Advisor to multiple startup founders.

Prior to her epic rise in tech and landing in the c-suite as Chief of Staff at a $1b retail manufacturing company where she led global operations, product innovation and strategy, Bridgette shined in journalism as a Reporter, On-air Commentator, Talk Show Host and Public Relations entrepreneur representing global brands such as Wal-Mart, McDonald's, General Motors and Toyota.

Her journalism career includes more than 100 global media awards such as 6 Gracie Awards from Alliance for Women in Media, a Silver World Medal from the New York Film and Television Festival, 5 Communicator Awards, 5 Eric Sevareid Awards, 5 Wisconsin Broadcaster Awards, 4 Marcom Awards, 3 Davey Awards and 2 Telly awards.
